Our Church
About Horizons
At Horizons Presbyterian Church, we cherish every guest as a gift entrusted to us by God. When someone walks through our doors, we want them to feel seen, welcomed, and valued—not as visitors passing through, but as neighbors and friends sharing in the grace of Christ. We strive to create an atmosphere where each person experiences genuine hospitality, warm connection, and the quiet assurance that they belong. Whether someone comes seeking worship, community, comfort, or simply curiosity, we honor their presence and receive them with open hearts, grateful for the chance to walk alongside them in faith.
WORSHIP WITH US
Sunday Mornings at 10:00AM
The church is wheelchair accessible. Parking is available in the lot off Elm Street, along Elm Street, or on Main Street.
Children are always welcome in worship. There are currently no child care or Sunday School classes, but there are children’s activity boxes available in the Sanctuary, and a nursery/play area upstairs.

Coffee, Tea, and Thee
Join us for the Fellowship and Coffee Hour after each Sunday worship service. Coffee is served along with a simple treat such as cookies, pastries, or cake. At this informal setting, it’s a great time for meeting and greeting new and old friends. Our Fellowship Team also organizes periodic events and activities that enhance our time together in fun and positive ways!
Join In Our Mission
First Presbyterian Church, a caring and creative community of faith, committed to serving Christ today, and open to the leading of God’s Spirit. We consider ourselves to be a “church without walls,” open to all people who want to be friends of Jesus Christ without labels or limits. We are a diverse community of faith composed of young and old, individuals and families, people with many different gifts. In our coming together, we share our faith and offer each other support as we reach out in concern to our neighbors and the world mission.

FAQs
What is a Presbyterian?
First Presbyterian Church (First Church) functions under the Presbyterian, or representative form of church government. The officers of the church are elders, elected by the congregation. The Ministers, and ruling elders comprise the Session, and are responsible for the governance and spiritual oversight of the church. Our congregation is a member of the Presbyterian Church (USA).
What do Presbyterians Believe?
In life and in death we belong to God.
Through the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ,
the love of God and the communion of the Holy Spirit,
we trust in the one triune god, the Holy One of Israel,
who alone we worship and serve.
With believers in every time and place,
we rejoice that nothing in life or in death
can separate us from the love of God
in Christ Jesus our Lord. (from the Brief Statement of Faith of the PC(USA)
